Brennan went on a trip to Denver Colorado. He won an achievement award. He is with his mom on the plane for about 3 Hours from the Miami International airport to Denver airport; they got there at 9:00 Denver time or 11:00 Miami time. The time zone changes. Brennan feels so tired when he got there. The CEC organization picked the Hotel for us because it was next to the Convention center where the big blue bear statue is, peaking through the window. Brennan said “it was a humongous bear”. Brennan wore a black suit in the ceremony. The Emcee was talking to the award winners saying that it would start tonight.  Brennan met a couple of kids from different states. He Met Brennan Crooper who came from California. He meet Evi Yaotun from Montana and Sherry Dantel  from Tampa Florida. He is greeting new people after the Ceremony is finished. Brennan and his mom took a walk around in the whole city of Denver.  He could see the tall buildings that there are very huge. They bought some good stuff there. They went to Walgreens which is the building is connected together. They went on the free ride mobile because its free you don’t have to pay any money for it. Mom and Brennan could see a mountain view which was far. it was many miles away, Brennan and mom went to the outdoor mall. It had 3 floors there’s a movie theatre on top of it. Brennan is looking at the Posters on the wall telling them what movies to see. Brennan is looking at the poster with the movie called Ice Age.

The Hyatt Building has 37 floors. It’s an amazing building with a pool inside of it, there’s a hot tub outside the pool and work out gym between the 2 restrooms. In the ground floor of Hotel there’s a big window and you can see the chefs cooking and cutting right near the buffet place. It has a Coffee shop there, there is a little statue guys crawling on the wall hanging against the rope.

The Yes I can award winning tonight ceremony

All the kids from each state won something because they did an achievement to win something, there is a camera lady filming some of them on stage and get prepared to set it up on the youtube and whenever they decide to do it but it only took about 2 months to put it in, luckily everybody won the awards tonight.

The Emcee is talking to Brennan on stage and getting an award….

(Emcee) “for the next award is Brennan Jacob Dockermen” (the people clapping)……(Emcee) “this is Brennan in the age 20 besides in Fort Lauderdale Florida Brennan has become an act of member in his community bilingual public speaking and for the past 6 years Brennan has been taking the Broward County Special Olympics Participating in aquatics, Alpine skiing, alpine skiing in Florida?”(Brennan) “ughh-no-no that like that would be in Charlotte that- which is in N.C.” (Emcee) “Which is that’s in North Carolina” (Brennan) “yes it is” (Emcee) “guess where I live?” (Brennan) “Where?” (Emcee) “in North Carolina” (Brennan) “well would you la-la-la-la-la-lo-lo-lo-like, la-la-la-la-look it that cause you know this is like a regular richest city the one you live at now”(Emcee) “that’s right” (Brennan) “yes ughhh, I guess ughhhh, this is like a good city you live in” (Emcee) “Ashen North Carolina”…”Ashen, Ashen” (Brennan) “ok well” (Emcee) “ok, we’ll go on”. The sharing of testimony.

Later on all the winners get to be in the Café. Brennan is sitting right next to Rences parents, and had a nice conversation with them.

Can you put the jacket upstairs?… yeah are you going to watch these kids while I am gone?, sure I would.

(Brennan) “ummmm…what were you saying?”…(Rences dad) “huh, you don’t know what we were saying huh?” (Brennan) “Nope, what language is that?” (Rences dad) “Vietnamese” (Brennan) “what state did you guys come from?” (Rences dad) “from Maryland, and you” (Brennan) “Florida, of course” (Rences dad) “oh Florida huh, so is it cold out there?” (Brennan) “yeah, it gets cold only in the winter time but it’s get hot in the summer time, very very hot” (Rences dad) “oh?…hmmmm… I wouldn’t live in Florida”.

The big blue bear is 40 feet tall (Brennan) “that’s a humongous bear”. As Brennan said when Brennan and his mom were trying to take a picture of it standing behind the bear, as they were walking in the whole town area. 

The Museum of Science is in Colorado. There is a Denver Zoo next to the Museum; The Museum has everything inside there, the Dinosaurs, the Mummies from the Egypt, the Animals, the Prehistoric, the space odyssey, the crystals of the stones and the Lizard show. The Dinosaurs have statues inside there with the Dinosaur skeletons. They discovered the fossils and donated to the Museum. There is the prehistoric statue; they make the sound effects of different creatures. They have buttons to press. They have Animal statues inside the glass for the animal exhibit. They look so real with animals around the world.  The award winners had lunch at the museum right near by the Dinosaur Café; in the Dinosaur Café has the paintings on the wall. Brennan is exploring the whole Museum.  He has never been in this humongous science museum. Once he went up stairs with his mom he saw the fabric cube puzzle with animal pictures in it underneath the bench. My mom wanted to see the mummy from Egypt. Brennan and his mom went to the big picture window. You can see everything outside, like the Mountain View. There is a gift shop down stairs in the Museum. You can see the Dinosaur toys, the great children books, the magnets, the dinosaur movies, the animal note pads and other collections of creatures on the plastic shelf. There is a Saber tooth tiger in the museum. When you feed the tiger with a penny or quarter, it would roar so loud when you donate money to the Museum.

Brennan is at the Exploring light checking out all the objects. He’s checking out all the optic blocks and the 5 optic blocks are called Prisms, Slits, Double Prisms, Pests and Edges. Those Optic Blocks go on the optic block holder. Once you do that the light projector would light up the prism through the lens and the optic block holder and go through the wall. You would see a color beautiful light on the wall. The sign on the table gives you some directions. It says this project breaks light into a spectrum and then recombines it into white light. Another basic instruction on the corner says “push the button to start”, experiment with putting different sliders in the white plastic slot. The sliders block parts of the spectrum. Move the sliders back and forth to see how the colors change, the projected circle to your left shows how the color looks to your naked eye.

When Brennan and his mom were sitting at the bench, the bench is written on top it says Benches given in loving memory of Robert .E and Bernice Morris Wood Hams to whom the Museum meant so much by their daughters 1998.

The program is the name of the little booklet, when you open the book it shows 29 people. Brennan is the first one in before the others because his last name goes into a alphabetical order it has academics.  Arts, athletics, and community activities, self-advocacy, technology and transition.

Brennan checked himself out on the photo thermal. It’s called photo thermal imaging camera. The sign says everything on it. Your body gives off infrared light; see your hands up to the camera. What color are they on screen?.. Rub your hands together until they feel warm. Have they changed color?.. Roll up your shirt sleeve. Can you see how your clothes trap heat? This special camera sees infrared light. Hotter part of your body gives off more infrared light than cooler parts. Infrared light is invisible to the human eye. Glass blocks infrared light. Find someone wearing eyeglasses how do their glasses look on screen. When Brennan rubbed his hand on the jacket and smoothed it, you could see a blue hand print on your shoulder, once you open your mouth, your mouth turns green. 

The big Earth is hanging up on the ceiling it has months circulating around the earth as January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December. Those are the seasons of the year that would show the time lapse.

After, when they leave Colorado mom met Lorna and Mae. They came from ST.Thomas Virgin islands. The 2 ladies are nice. Brennan and his mom were waiting for the plane to land in Miami, Brennan and his mom had to get on the bus from the air port. Brennan was still listening to 3 Spanish ladies having a Spanish conversations. Brennans mom parked her car in the parking lot which is 1 mile away from the air port.

(Nicole)”hola¿cómo estás Carolina,”(Carolina) “estoy bien ¿cómo estás, bien, bien, bien, por lo que finalmente lo hizo a tiempo para el aeropuerto de la derecha,”(Nicole) “sí, yo estaba en Nueva York durante todo el tiempo y tengo que ir al baño durante 12 minutos y tengo que trabajar en el SubWay, y …. Tengo algo que queda en mi cuenta, pero esa es la razón, pero no me importa podría viajar mucho puedo,”(Carolina) “así que todo depende de usted, pero yo no te importa,  y tengo que conducir a TGI Fridays y que es mi restaurante favorito para ir a, pero yo trabajo allí por cerca de 4 meses, pero yo sólo conseguí ese trabajo, mi casa está más cerca de mi trabajo, así que podía caminar todos los días y obtener al otro lado de las calles los tráficos son terribles, pero no puedo soportar a esos tráficos más,”(Nicole) “que simplemente lo ignoran, cuando cada vez que está ahí pero no se detendrá e ir detener y vete detener y vete en al mismo tiempo pero que no es lo que hay que hacer”… (Sara) “hombre, tengo que llegar a tiempo, pero no quiero llegar tarde al trabajo, santo Hijo Jesús” (Nicole) “iban a salir por unos 5 minutos”…(Sara) “ohh jajaja i no se puede culpar a Jesús por mi error”

Hello Carolina how are you, I am fine how are you, good, good, good, so you finally made it on time to the airport right yeah, I was in new York the whole time  I gotta go to the bathroom for about 12 minutes and I have to work at SubWay, and…. I got something left over on my account but that is the whole reason but I don’t care I could travel a lot can I, well sure everything is up to you but I don’t mind, and I need to drive to TGI Fridays and that is my favorite restaurant to go to, but I work there for about 4 months now but I just got that job, my house is closest to my work so I could walk there every day and get across from the streets those traffics are terrible but I cannot stand those traffics any more, you just ignore it whenever it’s there but they won’t stop and go stop and go stop and go in the same time but that is not the right thing to do…man, I need to get there on time but I do not want to be late to work, holy Jesus, were going to get off for about 5 minutes…ohh hahaha i cannot blame Jesus for my mistake.

That’s Brennan is listening to every single word he hears he tried to catch every one of them but some of them are too fast.
